Kourtney's Story

Before pregnancy and Embrace Grace, my life revolved around my career goals, going out with friends on the weekends, and having the freedom to do what I wanted. My security came from having a steady paycheck and being independent. I found confidence in my career and appearance, and happiness in having fun with friends and buying new things.

When I found out I was pregnant, I was overjoyed. I cried happy tears, but I was also scared and filled with so many different emotions. Part of me never thought I could be a mom or would ever have the opportunity to become one.

Embrace Grace changed my life in so many ways. It brought me closer to God and introduced me to amazing women who supported me throughout such an exciting but scary journey. They reminded me that I was important and that everything I was facing would be worth it. The doubts I had about whether I could be a good mom slowly began to wash away.

Now, I have welcomed my beautiful baby girl, Psalm Elle Faye Blackbird, and I couldn't be more thankful to the Lord or to my Embrace Grace group. I would recommend the program to any first time mom who feels scared or unsure. Having women beside me who encouraged me and believed in me made such a difference in my journey to motherhood.
