When I first found out I was pregnant, my life was in pieces. I was in an abusive relationship, had just gotten out of jail, and had no car, no job, and nowhere stable to land except living back at home. The year before, I had suffered a miscarriage that shook my faith to the core and left me feeling completely lost.
My daughter saved my life. So did the women at First Coast Women’s Care, a Pregnancy Resource Center, where I was introduced to the Embrace Grace program. With the love and care of Pat and Barbara, I not only chose to keep my baby, but I also made the decision to do everything in my power to become the best mom I could be for her.
Through this program, I was able to mend so many broken places in my life. By the grace of God, my daughter is here beside me today. Healthy, joyful, and the greatest blessing I could have ever imagined.
Without Embrace Grace, I would not have had the tools, resources, and encouragement to make it this far. Thank you a million times over for all you do and for this wonderful program. It truly changes lives, and it gives babies a safe haven to be born into. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
