Before my pregnancy, the only place I found true security was in God. I trusted that He had a plan for my life, even when I couldn't see what that plan looked like. When I found out I was pregnant, I was scared. I knew I would be doing much of motherhood on my own, and I wrestled with the reality that my child's father would only be involved from a distance.
I joined Embrace Grace later in my pregnancy, and I wish I had found it sooner! My first trimester was incredibly difficult, but even joining later, I experienced so much encouragement through the leaders and the other moms. Week after week, they reminded me that I was capable and that I wasn't walking this journey by myself.
Because of Embrace Grace, I entered motherhood with more confidence and excitement than I ever thought possible. My leaders make me feel like I can really do this! The women in my group gave me more than support during pregnancy. I’ve gained friendships that I know will last long after my son is born and I am so grateful.
